Congrats on your new rod!

I just got my first Meiser, too. It's a 130910 MKX-4 and it's a beauty. Can't wait to try it out.

Thanks! Love the cork work and the handle size is perfect. Just slightly slimmer than my T&T rods or so it seems. quality build.

There is nothing like your first Meiser. Unless it is a second and third Meiser. The feeling of anticipation never goes away and Bob will never disappoint you.

That was not a bad cast. I was just casting to the nearby fish.

Enjoy the new rod - you'll likely love it.

I've collected 7 or 8 Meisers - all great tools for their specific purpose. New this year is a 14' 8wt CX for bigger water Atlantics that will be put to good use on the Restigouche. My 13' 7wt CX is my absolute go-to rod for medium sized rivers in most of my Atlantic salmon fishing.

Congratulations RobP, absolute gem of a rod right there.

I too just received a new Meiser 12667MKX-4 what an amazing peace of work. I have had a lot of rods and nothing quite compares to Rober Meiser craftsmanship. Thank you Bob!!

I had Bob build me three rods this year and they are all bad ass. His knowledge and history of Spey rods is incredible and he one Hell of a nice guy.

Send a message via Yahoo to Nooksack Mac
That a new Meiser is gorgeous out of its tube is no surprise - just one of the data points on the universal "It's a wonderful world" list. But tell us how they perform, and with which lines, tips, etc.
