Winter, now spring project

Biding my time after foot repair. A fly tied here and there, LOTS of reading and now a finished rod that awaits my return to wading. It's a Meiser blank,
15' 600/850 grain window. Looking forward to learning its personality.

Looks like a beauty! Should handle a pretty hefty long belly.

Which way to the river?

Cool. Is that the new blank or the previous generation?

Very nice build. The feather inlay looks killer! Cool cork work too. A sweet rod indeed.

Bring the swing.

Excellent craftsmanship
The blank details on the reel seat is very unique.
Enjoy your time with this rod ... hopefully a quick and successful recovery for you

Thanks to all. It was fun to build despite much poorer vision since the last rod I built! To answer, it's the older generation that Bob was discounting last Christmas time. First try will be on the Cowlitz, eventually OP rivers in Washington, Clackamas and Deschutes in Oregon and the Clearwater in Idaho. Should be fun.
