Flywerks SPG 104 4-5 RetroGlass Pic's & Update

A couple of trips to the Klamath and trib's ; got the rod pretty well dialed in and son caught a few nice fish.
The rod is a joy, almost too much fun once we got into the rods groove. As always, maybe more-so; slow down and enjoy the ride. Steve built this rod for my son and now I'm going to have one built for myself, probably a foot or so longer with a 300 or so higher gr. window. Full circle, started out with glass quite a few years ago. This rod is not your father's glass rod !!

Sorry for the picture quality, I suffer from Tech-Dysphoria. Not trying to give anyone vertigo. The tawny golden wheat rod is Steve's glass rod.

Enjoy The Spey Journey,
sixheads

Wink

I also have one of Steve's rods. 12 ft 6 in and 6wt. I also love it with a custom scandi head from Steve.
