if you are going to the Dean...

what would be the lightest spey rod a guy should use? 7wt? 6wt?

Smile Good Question...I take 3 rods...

Since I will be there 17 - 24 Aug, ! take two Sage Deathstars (7wt) which I use for dries. I also take a Sage TCR (9wt).

Above the canyon the Deathstars rule. Below...well got to see how it goes.

Last year got spooled with my TCR but water was higher. This year...lower.
