I'm exploring trading a trip with an Atlantic Salmon fisher from Eastern Canada for 2014. We each pay for airfare, but lodging and food is the responsibility of the host.
I am in Anchorage with access to areas here to fish. Rivers would include the Kasilof and Kenai with other smaller rivers in that area, and North of Anchorage. This would not be a Bristol Bay trip. I don't live there or have the necessary resources out there. We have solid runs of "reds" (sockeye) and "silvers" (coho). Wonderful trout and Dolly Varden (trout size char). Recently the "king" (chinook) runs have been horrible to be fully open. Next year it may be possible to fish for reds and kings at the same time, but no promises at all with the kings. No fantastic steelhead here.
Please discuss away, I'm open to ideas. Thanks for your time.
