Incensed with Salmon Quebec

To all Atlantic salmon anglers who registered for the November lottery via the Salmon Quebec website, I'd advise you to double check and make sure that you actually got registered in the ZEC draws if you didn't get selected in the lottery.

My buddy and I registered for the Gaspe draw via the Salmon Quebec website 4 days before the draw. We both got the confirmation screen saying that our entry had been accepted. We registered from two different places, me Toronto and him New Jersey.

Come November 1, I eagerly go to find our the draw results and find that both of us WERE NOT REGISTERED for the Gaspe draw!!!

Of course the ZEC will not do anything for us, and no one at Salmon Quebec has been answering the phone since then. To say that I'm PO'd with the situation is putting it lightly. I'm not an idiot with a computer, I know that I registered properly (see below for a print out of the screen I made of the confirmation). I registered successfully last year via the same method, however my buddy had the same problem. I assumed it was because he's useless with a computer, so I talked him through the process over the phone this year, but it appears to be a real problem with the Salmon Quebec system.

I can't imagine that we were the only people this happened to.

I can only say that my dealings with Saumons Quebec have been seamless and have always gone through . I always put them in at the last minute
(30thOct.) There's no reason that your cards didn't go through to the ZEC Grande Gaspe.I understand a LOT of regular visitors didn't put ANY cards in for next yr. or if they did they put in the minimum .

Don't sweat the bad casts for they sometimes bring you fish
