Aarhus, Denmark fishing?

My friend will be teaching at the university and has extended an invitation to visit.
Does anyone know of any fishing opportunities close (relatively speaking) to this destination?

Aarhus

Nice place; great people. I gave a lecture at that uni a couple of years ago, but it was in December so no fishing. I believe the main game there is sea trout and pike.

Sorry I'm no help. But I envy you. Would like to visit again.

Hi Pete

It all depents on what time of year you come over.

Most of my fishing are flyfishing for seatrout on the coste line in denmark.
They are protected 16. november 15. januar you have to relese colored fis tho.

Fresh water you can go for pike protected i April or Seatroud and salmon streams open around 16. april and closes around 15. oktober but there can be lots of special rules.

All this whit in 1,5 hrs drive. So when you know when and where ask away.

try and ask the same on this Danish forum http://www.fiskevand.dk/forum.php
more local knowledge.

Sorry about my less than perfect English.

Came home from BC 3 weeks ago great trip.

Cheers Iver
