Would love to know how you did. I stayed there 2 years ago and didn't bother bringing my gear. Seemed like you were more likely to catch a Jamacian trying to sell you weed in the water by the resort then any species of fish. I did see one deep water tour come back with some nice Barracuda. I talked to a few people and they all said that the local fishing practices have severley depleted the Islands resources and game fish are very difficult to find.

Went out very early in the morning and walked all the way to the rocky shallow flats outside the resort (to the left when facing the sea). No luck. Didn't get a chance to fish again since I was there for a wedding and was hung over pretty much every morning after.

I did see schools of fish in the designated swimming area. Not sure what they were but there were 2 schools that would frequent that area; 1 big school of smaller fish & 1 school of about 20 fish that ranged from 15 - 30+ inches. They looked like bonefish or stripers but I'm really not sure since I don't do any salt water fishing during the year unless on a holiday like this one.
