Newfoundland Rivers?

My bride to be and I are planning to head out East for our honeymoon and a little salmon fishing Early August. I caught the news that a whole bunch of rivers have been closed, but I have not heard about anything opening or what the conditions are. I have not had much success in tracking down the information online, so if there are any Newfoundland locals or anyone who else would know, please let me know. If you could also refer me to any good guides that would be appreciated. We are starting in Deer lake and waking our way west for a couple of weeks, so I can get to most of the rivers that might hold salmon.

Thanks for all the help

I have some information, yet I have not connected directly with any guides or local anglers in Newfoundland. Ideally I would like to be able to book a day or two of fishing, either for Salmon (after the two I lost in the St. Mary's, I have a real itch to land one) or trout. Anyone with suggestions as per gear I should take would be appreciated as well.
