Pulaski surface ice

I am driving west this week toward wyoming. Was planning on fishing Thursday on the salmon river. Forecasts are saying low of 10 f wed night, high of 25 on thursday. I was planning on the DSR, might suface ice be a problem down there ?

Slush might be a problem down low until the sun hits. Usually clears around 25 degree air temp or so. With the higher flow though, it might not have a chance to form

Looks like a couple of more days of good water with all the rain yesterday.

Whats up Shaq?Hope all is well.

With the hollow cries of a loon echoing off the mountains, the mist rises from the water like a thousand ghostly spirits freed at last of their earthly torments. It is here that my life falls into focus.

Re : ice

Feast or famine with the water, 1500cubes right now. I might give it a shot tomorrow if it doesn't go higher. (or snow 2 feet)

I fished yesterday, at 900cfs picked up 2 steel and 1 brown with all activity mostly around noon. Had one other take on the strip and nearly ripped the rod out of my hands before heading downstream with my Orange Heron.. not to be seen again. If anyone finds it, drop me a PM, its an original Glasso, reward offered
