Autum In Alaska, Photos;

Taken a little over a week ago these were the pick of the litter so far this fall. I managed to catch some fish on the same trip so it was as good as it can get.

The gravel spit you see way down there is made by a no name creek boaring its way into the river.

Ard,

Awesome photos. The waterfall and the shot above it are particularly appealing to me.

Beautiful countryside & you photos exhibit a hell of a lot more talent with a camera than I possess, the glacial colour of the river is striking & quite different from our rivers here in the UK.

Regards, Tyke.

Memories...

Spent many a day glassing for game in that kind of country- great time of year- thanks for the pics Ard!

I'm glad to hear that you all enjoy seeing the lay of the land here. Sometimes it becomes hard to make it to a destination on the day I plan to get there, I have a hard time driving through places like those in the pictures. I find a place to park then it seems I find a place to walk and the next thing you know it's an hour later............. When that happens repeatedly I tend to use up a day without regard or regret.
