Do it all the time. Bring all 3 rods, there's water for each one.

I fished both rivers last year. I used a 9 foot 8 wt. T & T and a 13 foot 4 inch 8 wt. Burkie. Good Luck, it sure is a beautiful place.

Vous avez demandé la même question sur QP et a mon avis la reponce de Chris Wilson est vraiment la meilleure . Bring all 3 rods. IF you have only room on the plane for one I'd go with the 14 ft .Moi, je pêche tous les rivières de la Gaspésie( Bonaventure , Causapscal ,Matapedia ,Patapedia, Petite Cascapedia,York ,Cap Chat ,et Madeleine) avec une 14 pieds, soie # 7/8 .
Bonne pêche

Brian

I'm right behind you .At the earliest Thursday ,latest Saturday .Then it's taking the Matane/Godbout ferry for what promises to be some fantastic/ bring 300 yds of backing fishing ! I had planned on 2 trips -gaspe last week and then the Northshore in 2 weeks but @ more than double 60CMS, which it had been , the York ain't too fishable IMHO
Cheers
