Easy floats on the OP

Can anyone recommend a few easy floats on the OP? We don't really want to tackle any Class III's or bigger.

Thanks in advance!

Wilson to lyndeker on the Boggie is about as easy as they gets. Allen bar to Cottonwood on the Hoh is easy too, but log jams come and go and can create dangers beyond rapids. Sweepers, slots that push you into log jams ect...

What Riffle said. Wilsonís down is no problem. The Hoh can be problematic due to its ability and propensity to change. I would not run it in a driftboat. Inflatables are an option if you are cautious for sweepers and jams.

I think any of the 3 sections of the Bogachiel from Hwy 101 to Lyendecker are easy. The only thing about launching at the hatchery is that the current runs right across at the ramp, so you have to pull riverward immediately so as not to get any rod tips caught in the brush. The Hoh from Hwy 101 at Oxbow on down is easy, but check first on take outs as they come and go or move often. The lower Queets from Hartzel Creek down to Clearwater is an easy float, but the take out at Clearwater is up a steep dirt bank, so the lighter your boat, the better.

The hatchery launch on the Bogachiel has changed. The river has split about a hundred yards above the launch. At medium to lower flows you have to drag your boat across and upstream to go down the left side.

Expect crowds, expect to wait to launch, expect to have people on every walkin spot and every bar one can float too, expect to get wet, expect to be cold. Expect rain, sleet, hail, snow and maybe a rainbow!
Fish hard and enjoy, there is some fish around, fish where others don't. Do not bring a jet sled if you want to bring your boat home.

I don't know when you're coming or any other details. That, and I'm not really the excitable type. Plus I'm leaving on a non-fishing trip tomorrow and won't return home until 3/11. So I won't be back out on the water until the 14th or later. There are some fish around. I've found fish my last two trips after being blanked 5 other times this winter.
