Kalamath River in March

I will be camping at Praire Creek camp ground in March of next year and I wondering if its worth my time to try to fish for steelhead?
Thanks

I assume you meant Klamath river. Yes, it can be good in March. You can swing flies and if the weather is warm, skating dries could be very effective too.

There is better access via roads upstream, while the lowest section has pretty limited access without a jetboat. I will send you a PM later today with more details.

I'm going to be heading from to this area Late January/early February. Can I get in on your PM with access points? I was thinking of staying in Eureka and hitting the best (conditions wise) river on any given day. I only have 3 or 4 days - no expectations, just want to see rivers and maybe get lucky.
