How is the North Umpqua in mid-late September

Was supposed to head out to fish the North Umpqua this summer but it looks like a work trip is going to kill those plans. Can possibly move the trip to the last couple weeks of September. How is the fishing this time of year? Are there still good numbers of fresh fish? Do the shorter days limit the amount of fishing time?

Itís awful

The shorter days limit the amount of daylight for sure but I can still get as much fishing in as I care to. Not to mention, not needing to wake up at 430 for first light is a bonus in my book.

Plenty of fish and way less people.
sixheads, troutpunk and kenobione like this.
