Clearwater Spring Chinook

Is there any one out there swinging for Chinooks in the Clearwater river and having success hooking up. I haven't fished the Clearwater at all and was hoping to this summer I have been told it would be a waste of time. Anyone out there willing to share flies ,gear, techniques or spots to wade. It would be great to hear from you.

Current Flow is 55k. Average fall flow is 4k...wading becomes very difficult above 20k.

If you have a boat with 100lbs of anchor and some very heavy line you might be able to swing a fly from the boat. I personally would choose smallmouth or trout this time of year in this area.
