Update on OP?

Hi friends. I am having trouble getting reliable reports on the Olympic Peninsula rivers - river conditions, strength of runs thus far, etc. I will be heading to forks next month and am just curious to get a feel for how things are going, or links to sources that are providing decent river reports. Many thanks!

Call waters west in Port Angeles for recent reports. It will be crowded.

not all that recent but a friend who is a fisheries biologist indicated lat two years have been the worst in maybe 20 years for runs. Really seem to be collapsing. I had planned to spend winter/spring in Forks but decided against it. That being said, it just takes one player to swim by your fly!!!!!

Yesterday and today on the Hoh and the Bogie. Fished hard. Yesterday was wet and rivers coming up. Today sunny and dropping into good shape. Lots, and lots of guys around. I have not got even a grab and I’ve yet to hear of a fish hooked. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not.
