Question North Umpqua Fires???

I was warned to check regarding fires on the Umpqua and North Umpqua. Anyone one with recent knowledge about fire conditions on the NU?
Much obliged!

Williams Creek Fire is contained.

Parking available up and down the river.

Should be no problem.

N fork Umpqua fire update

I just returned from the N Umpqua 3 days ago. Fires are all contained and parking is open all along the river at at the N Umpqua trail parking areas. Weather cooled off Aug 21st and hopefully the river is fishing a bit better now.

there were still some tree debris along N side of route 138 near Williams creek and there were only a few areas flagged for no parking untill this gets cleaned up.

Fished on the NU Thursday evening, as stated above the access is fine, river color was great, one thing to note is that I noticed than Bogus campground was closed, so if you are planning to camp check ahead for to see what is open.

The fire actually started very near the Bogus Creek campground......It was evacuated, and some of it burned. Thus the closure there...
