Report

This report is a little dated, but if you interested in the report of the trip shotgunner and I took in July, please take a look at shotgunner's blog. IMHO, the opening picture alone is worth the effort.

Wow

Great report about an area I've always wanted to fish and the picture is fantastic!

Well it's a start. So far only the report.. and it's still incomplete. Will try and finish today.

bulkleyfly, appreciate the compliment

Gunner,

That is a fine bit of work. I have to say I'm quite impressed and flabbergasted with the amount of detail in that report.

I think you're wasting your talent in the lumber business...you should have been a writer.

Superb report and some of those Bonnie pic's look awefully familiar :-)
At the pool in pc# 3 the taking fish are just abeam and below where the stream on the other side runs into the Bonnie .At the pool where i believe it's Charles is fishing did you try the tail ;-) AND the run into the pool below AND about mid pool to just above the large rock impeding any casting near it AND then the rapids just below for about 100ft (especially if you've got a 2 hander ) HMMMMMM ? That road up through the bush sure is handy :-) Watch for Deer and Moose though. Great fishing report and I'm glad you enjoyed the area .I'll be following your footsteps in 4 weeks .
Cheers
Brian
BTW : the Smurf coloured dry fly is called the Labatt Blue or Molson Blue ,depending on your beer of preference .Did you try the icecream @ Sexton & Sexton's ??

Brian

Don't sweat the bad casts for they sometimes bring you fish

Shotgunner/Smolt, awesome trip and awesome Blog! That almost made me feel as if I were there. I'm looking forward to my anual trip up "your way" to the PM at the end of September for some Salmon and Partridge. I'm hoping to hit the Speyfest in Newaygo on the way up, as well. Thanks for the nice Blogs, that kind of thing sure does help pass the time until the season starts. Tight lines...
