Fly only section of the hoh

I'm thinking about visiting there in late feb/early march, Just wondering if the this area is good for swinging flies, or is this stretch better suited for nymphing. I've done some hiking along the lower hoh last summer and it looked perfect for swinging flies...

some years there is good swinging water, some years there is not. it comes and goes....it also very water condition dependent but not in the manner that you would think.

the apx. 6 miles of fly only water on the upper hoh is probably the worst piece of swinging water on the coast. no more than a 3-4 runs suitable for swinging in the entire stretch. much of this stretch is braided and strewn with log jams. probably better suited for nymphing, if you must. water is small, generally gin clear and fishable when the other rivers are out. beautiful area, worth taking a look at, but there's better water downstream for the two handed fly rod.
