Spring BC Steelhead

We are looking to book a trip for this spring (april) in BC. Its our honeymoon (great catch a wife that will fish on her honeymoon) so we wanted a nice romantic lodge and the great fishing. Anyone have any ideas?

The fishing is a must that is why we are going there; however, we have never been there before and it seems like most lodges are more like in-town homes.

Thanks in advance

I don't have an answer for you. But I just had to say something...

That is one great wife you have there. Do you and she have any plans to open workshops? You could make a fortune converting other wives into fisher-woman (or in some cases, converting the men?).

Nicholas Dean Lodge does spring fishing in the Skeena region. I understand it can be excellent. Not sure about the amenities but they have a good website.

The Z-Boat Lodge (site sponsor) has ALL the facilities you would need - homely, top hosts in Brad & Kim, great food, great guides, & your fill of fishing opportunities through April.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles (spey rods). Doug Larson

Take only photographs, retain only memories, leave only a good impression of yourself, perhaps just footprints.

Try and get in touch with April Vokey.888-359-4259
She will be guiding on the Bulkley next season.
I am planning on fishing with her next fall with 3 of my buddies.

I would recommend Z-Boat as Speyducer does....

These people have a passion for fishing and know the rivers well.

Good luck

I'm Speyed......who knew it would feel so good.....
