Bulkley Advice?

Hi guys,

I am planning a quick trip up to Smithers the next weekend to fish the Bulkley (second weekend in Nov). Never been there before and would love some general advice on good spots to swing a fly if people are willing to provide. I will be walking and wading - not looking for anything too specific or to be lead by the hand to holding spots - but any general suggestions as to access points or areas with good runs accessable by foot would be much appreciated.

Also, any suggestions as to a good guide who would do a drift there for a day? From what I can see most operations in the area are "high end" full service types (well beyond my budget and needs) - but would love to find a good guy who will just get you on the river for a day.

PM's are great if people don't want to post.

Thanks in advance,
