I have been there this time of year. Also, be prepared to swing an unweighted fly on a light /maybe also short sinktip into the soft water close to shore if the water is cold. A weighted intruder on a heavy tip will bump the rocks too much and not fully swing in,uninterupted, to the soft currents where more of them may be holding.

As of ten days ago it has been hot, hot, hot. Surface and sub surface. You picked the right year to visit. Fish according to water temp and clarity. Have a great and safe trip.

We've had a lot of rain in the last few days, most of the rivers around Terrace are blown.
