Bell Irving?

My late September trip to the Bell Irving river on the Nass system in Northern BC is looming large. Any current reports or tips would be gratefully received.

We were on the Skeena last week and the steelhead are arriving so I'm sure you will find fish.

I was just up that way for work, and with all of the recent rain the Bell was a big brown monster. As Dana said you should find fish if the water will cooperate.

Anyways good luck.

The Bell blows out as easily if not more than the Kispiox - if you are staying at the lodge, make certain you have the chopper lined up, if not see you always have a full tank of gass as it is a long way back to the Skeena!

I think the Nass system blows more than anything ,with the Copper a close 2nd! I just got an email that it rained hard again a couple days ago on Kispiox ,which was just starting to head back down with the promise of coming in un til the new rain hit. You have a month still, however. For others the title of Kispiox email was "more rain, river still out",rained hard all day and night.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. My outfitter has lodges on both the skeena and the bell and access to the kitimat so there are some options if necessary.
