Stormy Weather on the Bow

Picture taken about 3 PM today. It was scary but mostly the storm blew over and we took cover in some bushes while the rain and small hail came down. Other than this interuption, the fishing was good!

That's a great photo...
I was out on the lower Bow yesterday evening, when a storm/lightning approached.
We thought it was going to miss us narrowly when suddenly my brother gets a couple of electrical shocks off the Spey rod he was holding. We made fast tracks too the truck.

Graphite lightening rods

are not good to have out in an electrical storm. Glad it was not serious.

Graphite is a good conductor ......... but Boron is better
