Springs in the Fraser River, BC

For those unfamiliar, it is a big river. Any tips on how to tackle it? Can I just saddle up on th bars like the gear guys and start casting? Or is there some more efficient approach?

I don't think Todd is fishing the Frazer itself, but rather the tribs. He is a very experienced guide and would be well worth taking a trip with.

A lot of the springs taken on conventional tackle on the Fraser are actualy "flossed" with a long leader - you are more likely to get a spring to "eat" a fly in the clearer waters of the tribs.
