Posting Hot Links
Both the Administrators and Moderators of this Forum encourage everyone's responses and involvement within this great community of ours here on the Speypages. It is because of you, our members, Approved Vendors and Sponsors here that bring a vast knowledge base to this sharing community.
Part of our success is being able to reach out and expand our community ... appropriately, this takes funding. This funding is had through different means, but one of these is advertising, more so the "right" to advertise or sell to our community, known on this Forum as Approved Vendors and Sponsors. These are individuals, shops/stores, manufacturers and in some cases other forums whom have given this community a monetary commitment (advertising dollars) to maintain and expand our community. We as members of this forum should support their commitment. Administrators and Moderators work directly with the Sponsors and Approved Vendors to maintain their investment in this community. A current and active list can be found here :
The Moderators and Administrators are working with the ownership sales team for an active and up to date Approved Vendor list. These Approved Vendors are designated through the User Title, which is located under the members user name. These vendors have exclusive advertising rights and can post links to their shops, services, etc ...
Therefore, it is encouraged that we as members do not post Hot Links of other manufacturers, shops/guides, forums or any other media link that is directly related to a monetary gain. This includes and is not limited to, selling, purchasing, gaining sponsorships, memberships or providing services. If a Hot Link is posted that meets any of this criteria, it will be removed from the posting by the Moderators of this forum. This is done so we do not de-value the commitment of our Sponsors/Approved Vendors.
Speypages encourages our members to share information to expand our knowledge of this great passion we all have. Whether it be tackle, flies, scientific data, history of our great sport or leisure ramblings through personal blogs, as long as it does not conflict with the criteria mentioned above or break other forum rules, it is highly encouraged to post links to help other members and expand a data base for all.
