Winter Trip Destination help

Its time to start planning a winter steelhead trip. I have about 7 days to play with in late January. We are coming from the mountain west, so eastern OR, WA, and ID are closer, but we aren't ruling out heading all the way to the coast. I'm hoping to get some suggestions on where some of you would recommend. In the past we've hit up the Siletz and the Sandy. We will be bank fishing (probably); do it yourself style. Camping nearby is a must. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Camping as in tent camping, or RV camping? That'll make a difference on recommendations.

I'd consider one of the yurt campgrounds around Tillamook, OR. Good jumping off point for various steelhead rivers close by. Water and electricity would be nice luxuries that time of the year too. Snow and ice are a real possibility.

Tillamook Oregon has a lot of water to fish. It would be a good one stop shop

Following. I'm planning a last minute trip over New Years. Conditions on the coast have me nervous to make that far of a trek from SW Colorado, but not ruling out the Southern OR Coast. Any other reliable options for late Dec/early Jan? I only get one steelhead trip/year if I'm lucky.
