Terrace for Xmas

I am going to be in Terrace for 4 days visiting the Wife's Family for Xmas, I would like to get out for some Steelhead action. I am guessing this will all be weather dependent on cold and on flow. I believe I have heard that both the Kalum and Copper can be good to fish depending on conditions and plan on bringing the rod. Anyone have any advice or information, or even better looking for a fishing partner for a day or 2 over Xmas.

The best cold weather powder skiing I've had

Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

I wish, I am only 38 but 20 years of rugby no longer allows me to ski anything but the groomed runs.
