Stellako, Morice, Bulkey, Kispiox, Copper area etc guides by the day?

Am helping some English folks plan a trip up to Skeena, they are doing the DIY thing but looking for some guided days as well at the weekends. Can anyone recommend any licensed guides who will do the odd day or two on any of the following rivers who I can put them in contact with.
Morice, Bulkey, Kispiox, Kitwanga, Copper, Kalum etc. They may also be looking for a day of trout fishing on the Stellako on the way up.
Many Thanks
Nick

I believe that Oscars store in Smithers can help with one day guided trips. Suggest you give them a try to confirm.

Question Just out of curiousity

Will the authorities still consider you an unlicensed "guide" if you accompany your English friends on the river during weekdays? Re: not so many years ago, there were NRA's hosting groups of so called "friends" in/around Smithers area.

I fish because the voices inside my head tell me to.

What's their time frame?

That can make a big difference.

Denise Maxwell does offer single days on the Bulkley. Or at least she used to. She knows the river very well.

Denise Maxwell on the Bulkley may be as close as it gets to the equivalent of Joan Wulff on the Beaverkill. Lunch break alone could be worth the price of a day on the river.

Am fully aware of the regulations and their intetpretations as I am a licensed guide in the lower mainland myself. I am not fishing with these people, just giving them a helping hand. FYI if I did want to fish with friends and family on classified water on weekdays, as I am a guide I would need to obtain written permission from the area manager first. If I was just a regular citizen, permanent resident or other NRA no such permission is required as far as I'm aware. It's very hard for them to prove the NRAs are illegally guiding the manner you describe unless they can see money changing hands. From speaking to COs and friends in the industry up there they know it is going on.

day guides

for Morice/ Upper Bulkley I know of 2 AG's from Houston, Roland Ofner with Denise Maxwell as mentioned & Ray Makowichuk with Frontier Farwest . I not sure but I think Ray is part time/fill in , check with guide outfitter's. Both are good . Regard's Steve

I thought that non BC residents are prohibited from fishing the classified waters such as the Bulkley on the weekends. Is it different if you have a guide? My experience in the region is that there is a very, very limited supply of guides, most of whom work for lodges. During high season I think it unlikely that you can find a day guide, unless you're planning for next year.

Call Oscar's, they can set you up with someone if there's availability.

In previous years I've called and could have gotten a guide for a day or two in the same week
