Bulkley below Moricetown

Are there any day drifts below the falls at Moricetown? Been doing a lot of googling and searches but seems like everything is from Smithers up can't find much info below the falls.

Anyone know if there are any launches suitable for a day trip?

Thanks
-Shane

I may be wrong, but I thought if you dropped in at Smithers you had to run the canyon and it was a multi day trip. That was my understanding anyway.

From Smithers to Moricetown yes it is and believe you have to take out at trout creek. I was more interested if there is any day floats below the falls at Moricetown. Can't seem to find much and google earth looks like it is just cayon below the falls so maybe only accessible via sleds coming up from Skeena.

Lots of jets launch just above the Suskwa Forest Service Road bridge. There's some decent water above and below that, but much of the canyon between Moricetown and the Suskwa FSR is tanky and not worth swinging IMO. Suskwa to Hazelton is a fair haul if you're drifting and much of that is tanky canyon water too.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like the lower might not be worth the time without a sled. I will just fish the upper river this trip.
