Anybody ever try the braided mono running line from Anglers Roost? Experiences?

Havent tried the anglers roost braided shooting line but have used both SA and airflo braided shooting lines....both do an ok job, easy to grip in cold conditions, arent the slickest but shoot fine, did find if u get a bit of a tangle they both seem to kink a bit once u undo the tangle, not real bad but noticeable, give it a wirl and see how it goes

I have been using Airflo miracle braid and despite comments from guides about how noisy it is going through the guides, it shoots well, floats high and doesn't tangle too badly.

I've used braided mono from Cortland and Gudebrod since the late 1980's behind shooting heads on single-hand rods and never had a problem with either. And I've used the Airflow Miracle braid behind shooting heads on single-hand rods too without a problem. And if I wanted to take one of my long-belly spey lines and but half of the rear taper off the line to use it as a long-belly 2-hand shooting taper, I'd use 30# braided mono as the running line for the simple reason that it can be mended a bit, which is very difficult to do with any of the non-braided monos.

I also use 20# braided mono for eye loops on blind-eye hooks of #2 and larger, and 15# braided mono for eye loops on blind-eye hooks #4 and smaller and have never had a problem with the resulting flies when fished. I would expect the Angler's Roost braided mono to work just as well.
