May indicate that it is polyurathane rather than PVC. I believe SA typically uses PVC, so it might be an AirFlo. I am not sure what other manufacturers use PU.

The light texture looks similar but this is a full length level running line not a fly line. With a .040" thickness it would probably well behind a skagit head in a speydicator application and not so well for swinging when you have to shoot a lot of line.
It looks like the back end of a wolf triangle taper or something from the back end of a snowbe line. Had both and they were that color and had texture to them.
As I have no use for it I'll post it up later in the classified for $20.
