Large shooting head wallet

I'm looking for a shooting head wallet that will accommodate longer shooting heads. Things like the Beulah Aero head lines, or Nextcast lines. I would like to keep the lines from getting squished. I would think something that was at a minimum 8"x8" or better 10"x10" and made of mesh. Anything out there like that?

Cheers,
Chris

OPST head wallet

Anybody use the OPST head wallet? It looks pretty big at 7.5" x 8". If yes, do you put any long heads in it?

Cheers,
Chris

Made my own out of the large grid pet-proof window screen material. Sewed up with dacron bowstring serving. Made em for all my line/tip/leader organization needs. If you sew them up bi-fold style like a wallet, you can hang them out of a shirt/jacket pocket while changing leaders mid stream. I do it all the time and haven't lost one yet. Make em in whatever size you need. Cheap too. When you're done fishing just lay them out to dry... no need to take everything out.

Hope this helps!

I have an OPST wallet and it is a good answer for your needs. I don't have any long heads in it but my observation is that it is pretty roomy and should work fine.

Another option would be one of the big Finsport wallets which uses plastic bag inserts. I have punched holes in some of the plastic Airflo inserts which allows them to breath reasonably well, although not as well as mesh.

I use the opst wallet and it is more than adequate for storing longer lines as far as I can tell.

Yep, the OPST one will work.

I also just picked up the new Scientific Anglers head wallet which has a pretty neat two sided design and should work also. It holds 12 whereas the OPST one holds 9 (I think).

I have used gallon freezer bags before and simply used a three whole punch so I could store them in a 4” binder like I’m going to class. Not fancy but easy to organize.

I use one of these Berkley soft bait binders. Comes with 7 pages (bags). You can buy additional pages if you so desire.

Thanks everybody. I ended up buying the OPST wallet, it seemed like it met all of my criteria.
