Scott G 9140

Hello,

It's time to give some fresh air for this oldie, but i noticed that i might not have any lines for it.
So any recommendations for shootingheads, grain weights for this #9 G rod?
I was planning to test Beulah Aerohead #9/10 for this one also but i will need also some skandi style heads.

Thank you
Teemu

My first thought was a 625-650gr Rio skagit max long.

Heya
Thanks for the message.
Have to check it out that one.

I tested it already with lines what I got , 550-575gr but seems like this old lady’s butt section got a lot of power, cast like a cannon when whole rod loads.

Would like to get smaller #8 G spey but seems like that one is pretty difficult to find.
