Solid, well-made reels. I have a 3 3/4 S-handle 2-way check all-black as my primary winch for Atlantics.
You'll seldom find a Farlex up for sale on the classifieds which I think speaks to the lack of buyers regret for these reels (can't say that for all marques).

You will have to pry mine out of my cold dead hands.
Wouldn't dream of giving my 3 3/4 S Handle.
Plus Tim is an awesome person to deal with.

I have a 3 3/4 platewind and it’s badass.

God created beer so carpenters wouldn’t take over the world.

I have an assortment of Tim’s “custom” reels and every one has its own special characteristics. Each for a specific application. Can’t praise them enough.

Love my platewind multiplier. Tough, pretty, and loud.

I recently bought a 3 3/4" platewind on the Classified ads and love the reel. It is a solid keeper for me, for my increasing changeover to click/pawl reels. Farlex quality and simplicity is alluring!

A 4” multiplier is my main reel.
Silent retrieve which I love.
Super solid.

Tim is amazing. Keeps you updated, answered all questions and even met me in person to deliver the reel over some coffee.

It’s the cheapest multiplier out there from what I can tell as well.
Next one will be a 4” platewind multi.
