Aquaz Bootfoot Waders?

Hey Gang:

Any of you using either either model of Aquaz boot foot waders? Wondering what you think.

I had a pair of Orvis boot foots breathables. They kept my feet nice and toasty, but they don't have "tall" sizes, so the inseam was really short on me and impeded movement... I felt like I was waddling between runs and had a hard time wading without good leg movement. Honestly, they felt a little sketchy. (I'm 6'3", but it was enough to feel bound up by them.)

But, I'd really like another pair of boot foot breathable for winter fishing. I don't want to spend the $700 for the simms, so I'm looking at Aquaz. I'd be up for other suggestions, too. Maybe the L.L. Bean?

Thanks,

Slint

I have both boot foot and stocking foot Aquaz. I use the boot foots primarily for comp casting practice - for the convenience. I have had them for a year and a half and and put 75+ days in them and I really like them. I fish in the stocking foots and have used them hard for at least as many days and I have yet to have to deal with a leak. I am 6'2" and they are actually a little long in the inseam for me - I do like the freedom it gives for climbing around banks. I am preasently waiting for my custom fit Aquaz - so I can look really snazzy... that option is another $100.

Like I said I have only used the boot foots for casting and demos - but they are plenty long even in the stock tall size. And the Boggs boots are serious things! The total days I have worn the two waders lets me speak confidently to the overall durability of the material - I have been impressed . And of course this is from waders that you don't need a mortgage to buy.

Hey Kush:

I really appreciate the feedback. That sounds really encouraging.

Can I ask, do you have the rogue model or the dry zip?

Thanks,

Slint

I also have a set of Aquaz stocking foot waders and have put at least 50 days in them, tromping around the woods as I do a ton of hiking in trail free forest and they are leak free! I would recommend them to anyone!!

What do you mean you release the fish after you catch it? Like, release it into your cooler right ?!?!
