In Touch Connect Core ?

Guys,

I've had ZERO luck welding monocore lines as the core always gets weakened. Is Rio's In Touch Connect core weldable? Is it one of those superbraids? Or is it mono?

As it is marketed as 'ultra-low' stretch, the core is almost certainly braid, thus welding should be a practical proposition.

All Rio InTouch lines have the ability to be welded.

Hey Dr. Bob,

I checked with our manufacturing team, just to make sure, and this is what they said about that core: "Our InTouch lines are weldable because our key core component has a higher melting point than polyethylene braids".

You should be good to go.

Cheers,
Simon
