I know now is a great time for steelhead. It also happens to be a great time for trout. I myself have been too busy helping folks catch salmon on the Fraser system to do either. I'm sure some of you have been out chasing trout with double handers. Help me live vicariously through you:hihi:.
Throw some pics up if you have 'em. It'll be November before I'm back in action....
You're setting the bar pretty high!
Sorry, no recent pics, I took a dunk along with my camera.
Ahhhh my favorite time of year... chasing bows n browns with a lightweight 2 hander during summer and fall in the Rocky Mts. Even more exciting than winter steelheading! Why? Cause with a lightweight spey/switch they are just about as thrilling to catch on the swing and I can land a whole lot more of em in a day. Anyone out there picking up a dozen or more steelies a day who doesn't walk on water?? Throw in an occaisional brookie, cutthroat, grayling.....just doesn't get much better. That being said steelhead will be in my home river next month, I can hardly wait.

here's a couple pic's for ya , with some Meiser rods , this should hold you over till you get out swinging for them again , whats not to like about big wild browns , sure was fun :hihi:
