As a Washington resident who fishes the Deschutes, good move.

Considering I've talked down several people in WA from fishing the Deschutes, good. Although I'm still worried of an upcoming closure since every springer crazed goon is out on the Willy looking for keepers.

Our ODFW equivalent MNRF has not changed any of the regulations yet. However, the surrounding counties and the conservation authority has closed down all their parks and access points. So unless you have access to private land or your fishing off a bridge or side of the road fishing is essentially closed for us.

MNRF- Ministry of Natrual Resources and Forestry.

GRCA- Grand River Conservation Authority

Anyone have info on time frame of these regs being put in place?

"As of Friday 11:59 p.m., non-residents may no longer participate in these activities in Oregon. The restriction extends until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and it is deemed safe to travel into Oregon. This order does not apply to anyone living in Oregon for less than six months who has not yet established residency. "
