Where in CR are you? We’ve had two Costa Rican exchange students in recent years, and my son spent a month down there as well. It’s on our short bucket list. Both of our “extended families” live on the Pacific side, which I assume is not as fly friendly.
I was out on the beach yesterday morning. Ton of bait fish around but no go for me. A local came up and pointed out some spots the should likely produce so we will give it a try again over the next few days. I need to check the tide charts to hit the incoming.
I was using my two hander yesterday which I wasn't going to bring but managed to slide it in the bag last minute.
The snowmachine sitting there should be quite a conversation piece I'd think. -6 here right now, at least it's cold. It should be cold at this time of year but this is the first cold winter weather we've had in 98 years.
It looks like you are in the north end, what's called the dry jungle. I spent a week at La Cruz about 1 mile from the boarder of Nicaragua, and also went to Coco beach and fished two half days there from a panga. enjoy your trip, I can't wait to go back.
What's that big ball of light in the sky ??
It's been pretty dismal here ... an afternoon of sunshine would be really nice right about now :hihi:
