Diorama in my home office

I built this years ago after watching without disturbing for 1-1/2 hours a pair spawning steelhead doing their thing. The "mounts" are actually made of fiberglass. The female is even dropping eggs! I cut a 12'x6' wide hole in the side of my house and bumped it out 3'. The river stones where gotten from Lake Oantario and I have a big drift log with seaweed for the bottom along with a partially buried moose jawbone. LED lighting and sound was also added. The rear wall is curved and I painted it to match the water color I observed. There is a open alcove above for all sorts of memorabilia I've collected over the years and a shelf below with a large book collection, mostly on Alaska fishing. My drawing table sits alongside and I constantly get joy from looking at the display. I guess this might qualify me for a room at the Fishing Insane Asylum!
My loving wife of 35 years has mentioned more than once that when I die, it'll be the first thing that goes and she will have windows put in!!
Thanks for looking.

That's splendid! But I hope that no wolverines use that hole to invade your house.

Oh yes I am!! I think you need to clear the air right off the bat in a relationship then back it up. There is no woman who runs 100% of anything in a relationship. I am married to a very successful, self empowered, self righteous, woman who made it by clawing and fighting to the top of a mans world. She, however, is married to me and that means its 50% at best. Its never one persons world. No need to ask permission. You asked for permission in grade school.

GH, Wait, I think we're married to the same woman! We both have our offices in the house and my wife refuses to invade my space! We never get in each others way, "it's marriage not prison" is a common saying here. Enjoy Thanksgiving!

Here are 2 more pictures of the diorama. Above are the things I've picked up along my travels and below are the fishing books. The 3 glass panels are removable. The wood is all antique white oak. The 3rd is a steelie from years ago up on the Salmon River, NY. Thanks for looking.

That's kind of the whole idea! Worse would be if I moved my fly tying in there, I would never come out!!
