I just want to put this out there. I sent Riverbum231money for Mow tips. I have not received them or heard from him. I can no longer find the poast.on Spey Pages. I would like him to return my funds. Untill that happens I will make sure that everybody knows what is happening.

I was suspicious of his sudden flurry of gear sales. I hope it works out for you and he comes through on delivery.

He has had a lot of sudden posts for items for sale, which all looked pretty iffy in my opinion. Looks like a typical scammer. The name says it all.

I think you can reach him at the Muskegon River Fly shop in Newago MI. Ask for Justin. Not to defend him, but i think he does a fair amount of guiding and may be on the water most days since spring fishing is on the rise in MI now. Obviously, there are many ways he could have handled this better. I just hope he will come through for you.

As a side note, I bought a few things from him at the end of last year and he delivered on time and, in fact, sent me a bunch more stuff than i actually bought. It was a little odd, but worked in my favor. Good luck.

was gonna blast him after I contacted admin - since your in the same boat, Ill chime in.

April 2 money sent, had to send a PM to ask about them on the 4th as no confirmation or information was sent after receiving my payment.. "I'll put them in the mail"

Now his PM won't take messages and the shipping code that was sent to me shows package hasn't made it to the post office... not sure how to feel about that.

Come clean dawg @riverbum231- send the gear or refund the account, whichever is easier for you.

Did you guys use Paypal, if so dispute the transaction.

Lets take a ride to Muskegon and talk to Justin. Its time consuming and expensive but sometimes you need to send a message that its NOT OK to do this. Just show up at the shop, no hostilities, no b.s.. Make good on what you promised. Ive had such great luck buying things on Spey Pages. Great deals, great communication, great shipping, etc. and it sucks to hear these stories. Im in so many places due to my work that I had the opportunity to drive an hour to see somebody that was less than honest in selling gear. They made good.

Hey Phil, I looked for that post also, and I was involved in it just like you money sent then nothing..... Out of the blue I got an email from PP 4/10 that I had been sent money??? It was from Justin and said "Refund" "sorry for the mix up" I then sent him a PM and it went through I think. I asked what the mix up was but received no reply. I did send him an email via his PP email a few days before the refund. This may be of no help to you but wanted you to know.

Same thing happened to me, only no explanation. Over 2 weeks I asked a question, then followed up twice on it and after the 2 weeks just got a refund with no explanation. I would have been fine with it if he'd said I thought I was an overbearing jerk or difficult to deal with or something, but no word either on PMs or email.

I still want the collection of hooks that were queued up :-/

The reason iD10ts do this is because they know they will not be questioned or second guessed by most if not all that they intend to defraud. So why do we even bother ?

Thankfully Iíve had all very positive transactions here. One transaction had me worried for a few due to poor communication, turned out to be completely legitimate family emergency. One other ended up being the wrong line, and the seller promptly offered full refund and paid return shipping. Thereís always a bit of risk, but Iím more than happy with the ratio of good honest deals here.
I do hope you guys get sorted out sooner than later on these bad deals, always sucks to hear when someone isnít being professional in how they handle sales here.

Just heard from Riverbum. He said he ordered tips and they should be on there way. I would like to thank him for reaching out and making contact. I feel hopefully I will receive product. I will keep this post updated
