Thumbs up

Way to go Sierra Nevada Brewing Co! I just bought a 12 pack of summerfest. I hope other breweries follow their lead (like maybe lagunitas, I'd love an excuse to drink more of their beer )

Anyone know how much the "portion" is? Sorry that sounded like a loaded question, any donation is a good donation and Sierra Nevada should be applauded for it, but I'm just curious.

Seeing as how I already buy about three 12 packs of Pale a week, this won't be a problem!

Good Stuff.

Remember moderation in all things:

You should only drink beer on a day with a ''Y'' in it !

I do have an occasional beer, but have not had one from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Now, I will.

I second the "Does a Bear shat in the woods?" and add "and wipe his arse with a fluffy white rabbit?"

Hey Sean, do you really need an excuse man?

Hate the pale ale, but I'll bite the bullet, for a good cause and all.

Just out of interest, as I doubt I will ever see any of this brew on my side of the pond, what is the alchohol content by volume ?
It's interesting to see what different folks think of as average, our UK beers tend to be sort of mid range between say 3.5% & 5.6% [although some of the specials can be a lot stronger], but as a student many years ago I [very vaguely] remember a trip to a beer festival in Belgium where the local speciality was a sort of anaesthetic in a glass !!
If I remember correctly [& bearing in mind the state we were all in that is extremely doubtful] this stuff was about the same strength as a strong red wine, ie around 14% - 15 %, but as I say too many brain cells were eliminated on that trip for me to be certain about this.
I must be getting old as it was my birthday last week & I went out for beers & a curry with friends & felt lousy the next day ! 15 or 20 years ago it would have taken a lot more to make me feel that rough - but as they say ''death is nature's way of telling you to slow down''.

Regards, Tyke.
