Exclamation Klamath&Trinty King Fall&Winter Runs Closed by Kali F&G Commission

Sad to see but IMHO, a good decision and long overdue. Hope it gets extended to include other at risk fisheries in NorKali. And get the Damn Dams Down.

A step in the right direction in our neck of the woods. Not gonna lie, I was stoked to hear steelhead fishing will still be allowed. Then I thought, people will now target steelhead instead of chinook or target chinook under the guise of steelheading. Interesting times.

yes - a bit concerning on how to regulate. Hope all the boat traffic will not now be in the good steelhead runs side drifting though the steelhead runs on the Klamath were pretty woeful last year

No adults for me on the Klamath last fall but some 2-3 lb half pounders aka super pounders! During the times I was fishing down low nobody was fishing for Salmon because none or very few were there, a few guys were waiting on them at one of the Camps, I think they eventually gave up and went home to Southern Ca.

I agree with you on the boats, when they are there, I'm off the water and waiting until the afternoon!
