I applaud you sincerely for your efforts and devotion in that shotgunner. Truly admiral. My apologies. Didn't mean to put you off but I'll take responsibility for my words and my haste

Sspey and I took it privately

I'll amend my posts later and abstain from any further comment on gun threads here on Speypages

J James, I'm surprised to read this coming from you. I don't mean this to be offensive.. just "surprising" (as a fan of your postings) I've yet to see much gushing over firearms here.. especially in comparison to say; wader / skagit threads.. or coolest S handled reels.

J James; I wasn't "put off" really, no apology necessary, it just seemed quite uncharacteristic coming from you. Your form (especially here) is very civil.. a commendable attribute. Sincere thanks for that.

That's more than generous. One doesn't have to be disagreeable to disagree and I was prickly to say the least. Plus I really pissed Sspey off and it was all for nothing.

Anyway, I do appreciate the kind remarks and that you took a moment to say as much is meaningful to me

Best,
J

Guys, really, this has been beat to death already and never belonged in the first place. Find a gun forum. I hope this is **** down soon....and by the way, I'm a gun nut. It doesn't belong here. Period.

Jeremy, thank you for listening (reading?). Just to be clear, my PM merely explained why your presumption about my motives was wrong. I didn't take you to task or express anger over your mistake. As I stated, I am simply trying to learn. And I am.

I think this poll has served its purpose. 1000+ views with 100+ votes provides a measurable sampling. The thread will remain, but will be closed.
