Yes... Then man before me is crazy about his gear.... He's the one who put the foam on the rod tube...Good guy to bout. I think people are stuck on seven weights..... but this is a light rod and I rig it up with 550 skagit for winter and even the smaller winter steel are a blast.... you'd never know it was an eight....until till you hook a silver chinook in tidal water of the campbell and game on!!! thats the beauty of quality sticks!!!!
I have a 12/6s 8wt and a 13/6 7wt and today a12/6 4wt. On any given day i like one more than another.I know this rod will be gone before morning.try scandi on it.
