Cause if so, I'm your guy. I live in Western MT, tie mediocre flies that look like roadkill, and chase trout. I'm getting more into the 2 handed side of things, and apparently this is the place to be.
I think we have a fair population of two-handed trout chasers on here ... myself included
This is the place to be for all things related to the two-hander, welcome to the Speypages.
You'll fit in fine here
I spend most of my time swingin' for smallmouths and they let me in, so you will have no problem landing a seat here! On a serious note, you have found the BEST two handed fly flinging site on the web, and an absolutely top notch community of human beings here. Welcome aboard!
The great thing about ugly trout flies is that they usually catch more fish.
A half century ago I learned that the 'interesting way'. We were half way into Fish Lake on a 12-mile trail and stopped to fish for 20 minutes in Lussier Creek. Being the generous humanitarian I am, I gave my younger brother an ugly brown fly. I wanted to keep the classic wet patterns for myself. Guess who caught more westslopes?
nom_chompsky.... riffing off of the linguist Noam Chomsky by any chance? Are you a fan?
