Hello to all on SpeyPages forums. New to two handed spey fishing but have over 50 years experience with single handed rods. I'm looking forward to learning lots about the two handed game from these forums! Currently own two spey rods and one switch rod. The two spey rods are a 12'6" Redington 7 weight and a custom made 13' 8/9 weight built on a Rainshadow blank. I also have a 5 weight 10'6" single hand rod that I'm converting to a two hand switch rod. I haven't completed this one yet but it should be done and ready to fish shortly.
I'm recently retired with lots of free time to spend with my grandkids and fishing, (and teaching my grandkids to fish!!) Looking forward to upcoming steelhead and salmon seasons, (if the WDFW doe't close everything down!)
