Greetings from Tacoma
I've finally grown comfortable swinging my 6wt and 8wt speyrods on the OP rivers. I also use a 3wt on the salt for searuns and rezzies. I still enjoy my single hand rods, but I've really grown to enjoy the efficiency of speycasting. Thanks for all the info you've all shared, as it's really helped me over the past two years.
I just started tying a few simple streamers for cohos....they're going to have to be VERY aggressive fish to take these first few flies!
I plan on attending this year's Sandy Spey Clave if I can get a hall pass from the wife. Look forward to meeting a few of you.
